A Seed that multiplies

“While we see a grounded seed; God has already seen a beautiful tree.
He looks at the end from the beginning.
He is perfect in everything he does”

Once, someone spoke to me that everyone looks at the beautiful tree that is matured and fruitful but it is rare that anyone looks at the seed that was once grounded which resulted into the matured and fruitful tree. I remember the time God spoke to me about a seed that dies alone so that it can be multiplied and bring the harvest. Here in this article, we discuss about the seed that is grounded, dies and produces much fruitfulness. Let’s look at the scripture found in the gospel according to John.

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

John 12:24,25

Three types of Seed:

There can be three types of seed and here i will share what happens to them. One is the seed that is kept safe at home and does not allow itself to be grounded as it has a fear that it might die. This kind of seed are those people who choose to stay safe in the things of the world and are not ready to trust God for their process so that they can be used for Kingdom of God. These people find themselves difficult to detach themselves from world and the things of the world as they find their security in that. The second type of seed is the seed that choose to be grounded but cannot sustain the humidity of soil and they die within the process. This kind of seed represents the people who die spiritually during the processes of their life as they do not allow the Word of God to do its work and nourish them. The third type of seed is the one that gets grounded in the soil and choose to sustain the humidity and gets nourished by water and nutrients of soil, germinates and transform into matured and fruitful tree. This seed represent the people who allow the processes of the life to work in them, mature them and bring through them the fruits for the Kingdom of God. They allow Word of God to water them and nourish them time to time.

The work of the enemy is to stop you in the place of grounding because he knows that once you germinate, he can not stop you to be the vessel to expand the Kingdom of God.

Power of the Seed:

We can not underestimate the power of one seed. Hence, we can not underestimate the power of one soul that chooses to ground itself and allow God to work in them. We as believers need to understand the power of that one seed that choose to be grounded. One Esther was sufficient to save the nation because she chose to undergo the process of transformation. This is the power of one seed.

We are the Seed in the Kingdom of God:

I strongly believe that this is the hour when God is grounding the seeds in the soil so that it can germinate and transformed into a fruitful tree. A tree can not bear fruits until it is matured. Harvest can not be produced until the seed allow it to be grounded and water, nourishment of soil to work in the process.

Detach yourself from the world:

For anyone to produce harvest in the kingdom of God, they have to detach themselves from the world and get saturated or consecrated. The things of the world and kingdom of God can not go hand to hand. One can not step into two things at the same time i.e keeping their desires in the things of the world and then working for the kingdom of God. If you see a seed that is grounded, it is completely in the soil, separated from the world. It is in that soil where it starts germinating. Here, I am not writing about going at some mountain where you find no one and die there. I am writing about dying to the carnal nature. As scripture says anyone who loses its life in the world (carnality) will keep it for eternal life (John 12:25).

Process of Transformation:

When a seed is transformed into new plant, it loses its old identity and now it is completely new. No one can remember the old that is gone. When God starts working in you, he will first start removing the coats of your old life. It can be anything that you acquired from your old life (malice behavior, hatred, anxiety, depressions, lusts of flesh, anger, pride, ego etc). The coat that is there will be removed through the Word of God. The Word of God cleanses us and removes the hardness of heart. It is at that place when hardness is removed, the living water (Word of God) starts permeating and filling you. It is at that place the seed starts germinating. During this process of detaching ourselves from the world and transformation, we need to hate our life of worldly standards and start living the life that Jesus has commanded. In other words, where Jesus is there you should be. This can only happen when you start developing an intimate relationship with Father in Heaven.

Do not give up:

Do not allow the excess heat / humidity to cause you to die during the time when you are sprouting and maturing. The seed that is grounded have two destinies: either it will die or it will sprout. It will depend upon your response towards the circumstance; if you will die during the process or mature. Thanks be to God, our Father, who continuously hold and walk with us during the process so that we will not die.

One of the verses that has always encouraged me during the season of grounding is found in book of Isaiah 43:19

I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.
Don’t you perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert.

Prayer:

Dear heavenly father, I pray for the beloved readers that you will speak to them and give vision of the bigger perspective and how you look at their circumstances. I pray Lord for the determination, strength and peace over our beloved readers that they will not give up during the process of transformation; instead they will germinate and be transformed into a beautiful and matured tree that bears fruit. I pray Lord that your grace will carry them and they grow in your grace. Lord, be with them and help them to set their focus on you continuously throughout the seasons of their life. They shall glorify you through their life. In Jesus name, Amen.
